Economic Research
The Economic Research Tables will influence game play in a number of ways, (see Kondratiev wave).
Level 1
Cost: 50 EP's (If the player has one or more University Units the cost is only 15 EP's)
Benefits:
1) One Positive Political Point granted every turn at the beginning of phase 8.
2) 1% Growth Percentage (GP) per territory controlled.
3) Produce, Steel, Gold and Oil Tables are now available to the player with met conditions.
Pitfalls:
1) Must spend EP's for use of Produce, Steel, Gold and Oil Tables.
Level 2
Cost: 50 EP's (If the player has two or more University Units the cost is only 15 EP's)
Benefits:
1) Two Positive Political Points granted every turn at the beginning of phase 8.
2) 2% Growth Percentage (GP) per territory controlled.
3) Produce, Steel, Gold and Oil Tables are now available to the player with a +1 added to the die roll, plus any +PP added and/or other bonuses.
Pitfalls:
1) Must spend EP's for use of Produce, Steel, Gold and Oil Tables.
Level 3
Cost: 50 EP's (If the player has three or more University Units the cost is only 15 EP's)
Benefits:
1) Three Positive Political Points granted every turn at the beginning of phase 8.
2) 3% Growth Percentage (GP) per territory controlled.
3) Produce, Steel, Gold and Oil Tables are now available to the player with a +2 added to the die roll, plus any +PP added and/or other bonuses.
Pitfalls:
1)Must spend EP's for use of Produce, Steel, Gold and Oil Tables.
Level 4
Cost: 50 EP's (If the player has four or more University Units the cost is only 15 EP's)
Benefits:
1) Four Positive Political Points granted every turn at the beginning of phase 8.
2) 4% Growth Percentage (GP) per territory controlled.
3) Produce, Steel, Gold and Oil Tables are now available to the player with a +3 added to the die, plus any +PP added and/or other bonuses.
Pitfalls:
1) Must spend EP's for use of Produce, Steel, Gold and Oil Tables.
Level 5
Cost: 50 EP's (If the player has five or more University Units the cost is only 15 EP's)
Benefits:
1) Five Positive Political Points granted every turn at the beginning of phase 8.
2) 5% Growth Percentage (GP) per territory controlled.
3) Produce Table is now available to the player with a +4 added to the die, plus any +PP added and/or other bonuses.
Pitfalls:
1) Must spend EP's for use of Produce, Steel, Gold and Oil Tables.
Level 6
Cost: 50 EP's (If the player has six or more University Units the cost is only 15 EP's)
Benefits:
1) Six Positive Political Points granted every turn at the beginning of phase 8.
2) 6% Growth Percentage (GP) per territory controlled.
3) Steel Table is now available to the player with a +4 added to the die, plus any +PP added and/or other bonuses.
4) No longer have to spend EP's for use of Produce and Steel Tables.
Pitfalls:
1) Must spend EP's for use of Gold and Oil Tables.
Level 7
Cost: 50 EP's (If the player has seven or more University Units the cost is only 15 EP's)
Benefits:
1) Seven Positive Political Points granted every turn at the beginning of phase 8.
2) 7% Growth Percentage (GP) per territory controlled.
3) Gold Table is now available to the player with a +4 added to the die, plus any +PP added and/or other bonuses.
4) No longer have to spend 20 EP's for use of Gold Table need only spend 10 EP's.
Pitfalls:
1) Must spend EP's for use of Oil Table.
Level 8
Cost: 50 EP's (If the player has eight or more University Units the cost is only 15 EP's)
Benefits:
1) Eight Positive Political Points granted every turn at the beginning of phase 8.
2) 8% Growth Percentage (GP) per territory controlled.
3) Produce, Steel, and Gold Tables are now available to the player with a +5 added to the die, plus any +PP added and/or other bonuses.
Pitfalls:
1) Must spend EP's for use of Oil Table.
